All of Strayer
University's degree programs can be completed online. Online
classes are offered in two formats, synchronous or asynchronous.
Synchronous classes are real-time, live-chat sessions that are
scheduled once per week at a set time. Asynchronous classes are
taken at any time convenient to you; however, you must log on at
least once per week.
Classes conducted in the
asynchronous platform are available for students to log into 24 hours and 7 days
a week. Although students are required to log in one time each week in order for
attendance to post as present; students may need to log in multiple times in
order to successfully complete the course.
Classes conducted in the
synchronous platform meet weekly at a regularly scheduled day and time. Students
are required to log into the live session in order to meet the attendance
requirement. Attendance and participation in class discussion are considered
important for your success.
