Dr. Deepak Chopra
is a leader in the field of mind-body medicine. He created the Chopra Center
for Well Being in California in 1995 and serves as its director of education.

Dr. Deepak Chopra
has spent his career bringing modern Western medicine and the more spiritual
traditions of ancient Eastern philosophies into harmony. He employs India’s
Ayurvedic traditions with modern medical science, emphasizing the mind/body
connection to help people reduce stress, lose weight without stringent diets,
and maintain excellent health. His books and cassette programs are sold in

He has been a
practicing endocrinologist since 1971, and is the former Chief of Staff at New
England Memorial Hospital. Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Sharp

He is also a member of the National Institutes of Health Ad Hoc Panel on
Alternative Medicine.
Dr. Chopra is the

copies of his books worldwide. Dr. Chopra is a fellow of the American College
of Physicians and a member of the American Association of Clinical
