DESCRIPTION & CONTENTS:
This is a
financial program designed to help one buy and resell quickly foreclosed or
distressed real estate, with no down payment, and operating rental properties,
to increase one’s net worth and generate a monthly income. Sheets claims that
anyone can do this by using his methods, even with a less than perfect credit
history. The program includes at least 6 audiotapes (7 hrs. of taped info.), a
294 pp. workbook, a 24 hr. hotline, and 2 videos. The program was updated in
1996. The buyer gets Sheets’ entire seminar on the video. A legal forms
portfolio and creative tax strategies booklet is also included.
This is this
infomercial’s 14th year on TV. Testimonials are provided by regular
people who used the plan to substantially increase their net worth and spendable
income, as well as a radio DJ and a realtor, and sportscaster Curt Gowdy. A
disclaimer appears at the bottom of the screen that “your results may vary”.
One particularly successful couple appears with their lawyer, who attests that
all the sales referred to were actually made are legitimate. A statement is
also flashed on the screen that affidavits have been signed by all people
appearing on the show and giving testimonials, and Sheets says that none are
paid (although several couples are invited to celebrate with him at a Mexican
resort, ostensibly their flight and hotel have been “paid” for – isn’t that some
form of payment?). One new thing recently added is that a percentage of the
proceeds of his show are donated to the charity Habitat For Humanity Intl.
The cost of the
program is 3 payments of $59.95 plus s/h, and a 30-day risk-free trial is
offered. You can return the program for a refund if not satisfied. If you pay
$10 more per payment, you can get the program on CD format.
